The Star Tribune globe, out of the public eye for nearly a quarter century, has been restored and is being unveiled as part of the newspaper's 150th birthday bash. The delivery of the 66-year-old globe to the lobby of the Star Tribune Building in downtown Minneapolis on Tuesday morning (May 23rd) created a buzz. A crowd gathered as workers from Blue Rhino Studio in Eagan (which managed the globe's restoration) carefully installed the 6-foot globe.
