Two Somali teens are making history, becoming the first Muslim girls to join Apollo High School's swim team in St. Cloud and two of the first to swim competitively in Minnesota.

The two Somali teens say they felt ‘nothing but support’ from their coach and teammates, which encouraged them to become trailblazers.

Monday was the second annual Indigenous Peoples Day Parade in St. Paul. The parade started at the American Indian Magnet School and proceeded down Earl Street to Indian Mounds Park. The theme of this year's parade was "Protect Mother Earth."
