I’m the CEO of overlining lips – I was bullied at school for having small ones but now I can make them double in size
AN INFLUENCER that styles as the “CEO of overlining lips” has revealed exactly how she makes her pout double in size using lip liner.
Ruth, who goes by Rxthism online, draws around her mouth in one single swipe before filling her lips in with lipstick.
The 21-year-old’s method is so thorough that it hides the natural outline of her lips.
The content creator took to TikTok to boast about her make-up abilities and it has left people gobsmacked.
Ruth penned over the video: “School bully: ‘ew, your lips are so small.’
“My daily routine for ten years now.”
Viewers were confused about how the make-up expert could hide her natural lip outline using lip liner.
Trolls weighed in that her lips would look “weird” from a side profile view and taunted her to prove them different.
One penned: “I need to see it from the side because oh my God.”
Another added: “Now show us what you look like from the side.”
A third weighed in: “Okay but in person, it would look a bit strange seeing we can tell where your natural (beautiful) lips are.”
Ruth revealed that she created her own lip liner and liquid lipstick set – better known as a lip kit – to get a flawless overline.
Lip kits were first introduced into the beauty industry by Kylie Jenner and have fast gained popularity as a way to enhance your pout with make-up.
The influencer sells the kits through her brand Radiant Cosmetics.
A blurb on the lip kits reads: “This saturated liquid formula delivers an intense shot of matte pigment in one easy swipe.
“A single application gives you smear-resistant coverage that stays put for hours.
“Full coverage, intense pigment, and a matte finish in an easy-to-apply liquid formula.
“One sweep delivers a vibrant long-wearing colour that sets all day.”
Her tutorial video racked up a whopping 13.7 million views since being uploaded.
