EMMERDALE fans were left disgusted after Mary Goskirk is left for dead after lover Faye revealed her true colours.

Faye reveals her true intentions[/caption] The confrontation escalates[/caption] And Mary is left unconscious[/caption]The Emmerdale resident finally listens to friend Suzy’s concerns after she revealed she couldn’t find anything online about Faye’s charity.
Faye also gave Suzy her personal account details for a money transfer instead of the charity’s – which raised further questions.
Initially, Mary defended her girlfriend and refused to believe Suzy’s theories about Faye scamming her.
But, Mary soon realised she was being conned after she questioned Faye about the charity just before the pair prepare to jet off to Ecuador.
Mary accused Faye of gaslighting her and being a grifter after seeing 50 grand in her bank account.
As Mary accepted that Suzy is right about her, Faye became fully aware the jig is up and revealed her true nature.
Faye told her to be thankful you only lost a small amount of money.
Mary admitted that she thought Faye loved her, but Faye laughed back in her face.
She then belittled Mary even further by saying she couldn’t even figure it out without getting Suzy involved.
A kerfuffle ensued over an envelope of money, prompting Faye to make her escape… leaving Mary bleeding and concussed.
Later, Gus called round to find Mary unconscious and called an ambulance.
Fortunately, Mary had minor injuries, but blamed herself for falling for Faye and her tricks.
After Mary explained what happened with Faye to her daughter Rhona, she was left devastated as she cried in her arms.
How will Mary cope after her heartbreak?
Viewers were left in tears for Mary who made her way out of the closet to finally reveal she was a lesbian, only to be left heartbroken after she opened herself up to love for the first time since her arrival.
Taking to Twitter, one said: “Ahh poor Mary I hope she’ll be ok.”
Another wrote: “Noo Mary!”
A third penned: “What an absolute b**** Faye is. Poor Mary.”
