A CELEBRITY Big Brother star who ditched his trademark look is unrecognisable after landing himself a ‘normal’ job.

Goldie Lookin Chain’s Maggot swapped his trackies for suits and ties when he landed himself a job as a financial advisor.

The rapper – whose real name is Andrew Major – rose to fame in 2000 as Maggot in the Welsh group, Goldie Lookin Chain.

The comedic rappers were known for their hits including Guns Don’t Kill People, Rappers Do and Your Missus Is A Nutter.

However, the 46-year-old has left his rap days behind him and now works as a financial advisor.

But the surprising change from fame to finance is not as drastic as some fans might think.

Before being known as Maggot, Andrew previously trained in the finance sector and has over 20 years experience in the field.

Which could be why he had no trouble landing a job at a top financial firm.

He was offered a job with United Commercial Finance in Newport, Wales within an hour of meeting director Joe Patrick.

As well as performing with the group, Andrew took part in Celebrity Big Brother in 2006.

The rapper turned finance expert bagged an impressive third place on the show, losing out to that year’s winner Chantelle Houghton.

While most of the group moved on to jobs out of the spotlight, one band member put himself forward for a role in politics.

Singer Rhys Hutchings, who went by the name Xian, stepped up to be a labour councillor back in 2012.

He told The Sun at the time: “A lot of people think politics is for older people and retired people who have got bored with playing golf.

“It’s for the future, I would be working for the people of Newport to make it a better place.”
