I’m midsize and tried on new Zara swimsuits for summer – here’s why they were a major fail
A FASHION fan has told how she tried on stunning new swimsuits from Zara – but they were a major fail.
Aideen Kate, who posts as @aideenkatemua on Instagram, recently shared a “realistic” Zara swimwear try-on haul with her followers.
Aideen said: “It’s been a while since I’ve done this but I really want to start sharing more of this again because it’s something I go through all the time.
“Sometimes I order things and they are gorge, sometimes not so much… but here’s a realistic Zara swimsuit haul.
“I ended up returning all of the swimsuits but I kept the two dresses because I love them!
“The swimsuits did fit but I just feel I’m too tall for them I need more length in the middle.”
Aideen first revealed the printed tulle swimsuit.
It’s described as a “swimsuit with removable cups, a V-neck with gathered detail and thin straps.”
The vibrant swimsuit comes in sizes XS to XL and it’s currently on sale just €19.99 (£17.99).
Aideen said: “First up we have this swimsuit. Now one thing I will say I feel like I’m very tall for this.
“It should be a bit higher up, my boobs are not as supported as they could be.
“The back of this is actually quite nice though. I’m extra-large but I feel like I’m too tall.”
The Zara fan showed off an orange cover up.
She said: “This is fab. I absolutely love this. This the size large, like it’s definitely loose, but when you tie its perfect.”
Aideen tried a yellow strapless swimsuit – and it’s priced at €32.95 (£29.99).
She said: “We have this neon yellow vibe. I’m constantly surprised with the fit of these swimsuits. I really, really am.
“I don’t feel like Zara are fully there yet.”
Its description reads: “Swimsuit with removable cups and a strapless straight-cut neckline. Draped fabric.”
The fashion fan revealed a black cover up dress.
She said: “I actually really like this. I think it’s actually very nice. It’s nice and flowy.
“It’s a nice length on me. It’s a size large as well. I think I’ll keep.”
Her final purchase was a purple asymmetrical swimsuit.
Aideen said: “I don’t know. My right boob is the bigger boob here and I just feel like it’s going to pour out.
“It is nice though but I could do with this being the opposite way around.”
The striking swimsuit is reduced to €19.99 (£17.99).
