I’m an iPhone expert and there’s an underused sound booster setting you need to switch on now
IF you’re finding your iPhone earphones are on the quiet side, there is a clever way to boost them.
Of course, you should always be careful with the volume of your music as it could damage your hearing.
But if you feel like yours are too low or if you have a hearing impairment, this trick could help.
TikToker, @iphonetricks2023, revealed how it’s done in a few simple taps.
How to boost the sound of my iPhone earphones
Start by going to Settings.
Scroll down to Accessibility.
Find Audio/Visual.
Tap Headphone Accommodations.
Switch Headphone Accommodations on.
Next, scroll down and tap Vocal Range.
Further down you’ll see a slider.
Scroll it all the way up to Strong.
As Apple explains: “Sounds will be boosted slightly, moderately or strongly.”
There’s even a sample audio button below so you can test it.
If it’s too strong, maybe turn it down a little.
