A FASHION fan has revealed the M&S staples every woman needs in their wardrobe this summer – and they all come in at under £50.
Charissa suggested shoppers stock up on their basic striped tees and viral linen trousers, both of which can work as the base for various Summer looks.
She also claims to have found a dupe for a £79 COS skirt, claiming Marks & Spencer’s Jersey Midi Circle Skirt is almost identical at just a fraction of the price.
Known online as @charissarae17, the Newcastle-based content creator regularly shares budget-friendly fashion hauls and styling tips with her 14,000 followers.
In a new TikTok reel, she said: “Five staples to maximise your wardrobe this spring.”
Charissa’s first look is a daytime outfit, made up of the Pure Cotton Striped Everyday Fit T-Shirt, priced at just £8.50, and the Jersey Midi Circle Skirt, now £27.50.
She suggested the latter could be a dupe for COS’ Pleated Maxi Skirt, which would set shoppers back a whopping £79.
To keep it casual, she styles this with Leather Ankle Strap Flat Sandals, £45, and the black Drawstring Cross Body Bag, costing £29.50.
For her second outfit, Charissa swaps out the skirt for some on-trend full-length linen trousers.
The Linen Rich Wide Leg Trousers are available online and in-store in seven colours, for just £25.
Outfit three is something a little smarter, as the fashion fan is seen pairing the linen trousers with an on-trend Linen Blend Tailored Waistcoat, coming in at £39.50.
Again, she pairs this with the same chunky sandals and some gold jewelry.
Fans loved her staples haul, with the try-on video gaining more than 1,600 likes and 44,700 views.
In the comments, TikTokkers shared their reactions, with one writing: “Love the first skirt outfit.”
