Bride totally splits opinion by wearing a mini ‘naked’ wedding dress to her big day – with haters saying it’s too sexy
A BRIDE has hit back at critics who slammed her “naked” wedding dress for being “too sexy” and showing too much skin.
Australian model Ellie Gonsalves, 33, tied the knot to her partner Ross Scutts in a stunning two-day Gold Coast wedding back in March – and forked out on three white gowns for the special occasion.
The long-sleeved dress she wore for the private ceremony featured a dramatic train and illusion neckline.
Ellie then wore a further two dresses to a reception the following day, including a strapless white gown with intricate floral detail.
However, it was the third frock that really got people talking – with some claiming it was far “too sexy” and “too revealing” for a wedding celebration.
In a post shared to TikTok, she penned: “My husband’s face when he saw me in this dress reveal at our wedding.”
Ellie can then be seen making a bold entrance donning a corset-style white mini-dress that features see-through tulle, with strategically placed lace to help cover her modesty.
While the groom looks elated with the outfit change, social media users were clearly very split with the “naked” look.

“What you’re sharing with everyone is supposed to be only for your husband,” wrote one.
A second penned: “Not classy for a wedding my dear.”
A third commented: “This is wildly inappropriate.”
Meanwhile, a fourth described Ellie as “fast and loose” on her wedding day.
In response, she hit back: “The only thing that’s fat and loose was your mum’s hands when she dropped ya on your head as a child.”
The influencer added: “What’s that phrase? If you dish it out, be prepared to take it? I can’t believe people are getting so offended by a wedding dress.”
