Myleene Klass recreates famous shower scene 16 years after white bikini ‘changed her life’ – and fans are going wild
MYLENEE Klass has sent fans in a frenzy after re-creating her famous white bikini jungle shower scene.
The former Hear’Say singer, 45, has brought back her striking two-piece for her latest stint in I’m A Celebrity All Stars.
Myleene has now opened up on the huge reaction she caused during her first jungle gig in 2006 – and how her sexy attire “changed my life.”
Her white halterneck swimwear’s outing comes 16 years after she made it to the I’m a Celebrity final with eventual winner Matt Willis.
Now, in a special jungle video posted to Twitter, show bosses have captured scenes showing her modelling it under her jungle fleece.
Myleene, who went make-up free for her clip which was filmed in 2022, said: “I’m a huge fan of a white bikini and I get one every season and make sure I rock a white bikini.
“Because I kind of owe this white bikini a lot.”
She pulled open her jacket and said: “Oh I’d love to say that this is the white bikini but I don’t know where the white bikini is because when I came out of the jungle in Australia way back 16 years ago I auctioned it off and someone bought it for £7,500.”
She added: “I would love to know who has got it – or maybe I wouldn’t.
“Maybe it’s best that nobody knows who has got it.”
Fans were quick to show their delight, with one writing on Twitter: “Still got it.”
Another put: “Looks just as good 16 years on.”
A third commented: “Aging like a fine wine truly beautiful!”
One then celebrated: “Finally yes a shower scene.”
Another concluded: “Myleene owns The White Bikini 16 years on.”
Radio presenter Myleene recently revealed she credits her famous shower scene in 2006 for helping to launch a fashion business, which now sees her sell one item every 45 seconds.
Writing on Instagram, Myleene said: “Here’s the truth (and power behind those three triangles).
“17 years ago I first went into the jungle.
“On my way into camp, a show runner told me the bikini I had would strobe on camera and could I find a plain one.
“I ran into a beachside shop, asked for the plainest bikini they had and the rest is history. When I came out of the jungle, my bikini was auctioned for charity for £7,500.”
Of her business success, she added: “I now have the longest running celebrity brand in the UK!!
“‘Myleene Klass’ is sold in 33 countries globally and I sell one MK item every 45 seconds at @nextofficial!”
