I’m a Primark fan and did a HUGE holiday haul – everything I nabbed was new in but everyone’s saying the same thing
A MUM’S Primark haul has caused a stir after eagle-eyed fashion fans noticed the prices were higher than what they’re used to.
Hannah Brown took to TikTok to share a holiday haul, complete with summer dresses, crop tops and light jackets.
But some viewers couldn’t take their eyes off the price tags, claiming the fast fashion retailer was no longer budget friendly.
The first item mum-of-three Hannah tried on was a Strappy Striped Maxi Dress in stone and white for £16.
Bosses at Primark described it as “the ultimate summer style” with “its strappy design and floaty silhouette making it a cool option for sunny days.”
However, shoppers moaned that £16 was a hefty price tag for Primark, with many vowing to only shop at Shein from now on.
One said: “Their clothing has become more expensive now.
“Shein for me now.”
Hannah also styled a Satin Floral Chemise nightgown as a day-to-night dress.
But the pyjama frock cost £18, prompting more comments from disgruntled customers.
One responded: “If Primark’s prices are gonna be that high, I better go shop at Next or New Look.
“Will get better quality for the same price.”
Hannah then styled a £12 playsuit, £20 denim jacket and £7 crop top which fans recalled usually costing below £5.
Another outfit she put together consisted of a £22 shacket, £14 light trousers and a £7 vest.
Fashion fans applauded Hannah’s eye for styling but many simply couldn’t figure out why Primark clothes were “so much more expensive” now.
One said: “Primark has gone up in cost so much.”
Another moaned: “Primark used to be low cost.
“Now it’s just a regular store with bad quality clothes.”
However, the peach Midi-Length Chemise Nightdress Hannah styled was a huge hit with her viewers as she dubbed it “too nice for bed”, with many not minding its £14 price tag.
One woman gushed: “Oh my God, the peach dress. Stunning.”
Another said: “The peach dress is gorgeous.”
