I’m a teen mum of two – trolls said I’d ruin my life and should have an abortion, they must live such miserable lives
A TEEN mum has hit back at those who said cruel things to her when she fell pregnant aged sixteen.
Breanna Barrs is the proud parent of two children and regularly shares heartwarming videos about herself and her family on social media.
But the young mum has previously revealed that she’s had a lot to contend with along the way.
This was particularly the case when she found out she was expecting, and had to endure people saying awful things to her.
These included statements such as “if you don’t abort, you won’t get to go out and party like everyone else.”
However, despite others’ negative opinions, Breanna listened to her heart and went on to welcome her little ones to the world.
And in one of her most liked TikTok videos posted on her account @breanna.barrs, the American said she has never once regretted her decision.
In fact, she pointed out that those trolls must live miserable lives to have said those things to her in the first place and that nobody should be judging others.
Directly replying to those who have things to say about her becoming a teen mum, Breanna said: “I am often told that I need to stop romanticising my own life – to which I say, no thanks. I will forever continue to love my life.
“Although circumstances in my life have not been ideal, I have always made the best out of them.
“And if I want anyone to get anything from my account, I want you guys to understand that you can always make the best out of your situations.”
Breanna then opened up about her story, before addressing her critics once more.
She explained: “Yes, I got pregnant as a teen two times and I would NEVER encourage anyone to do the same.
“Obviously teen pregnancy is hard and statistically it does not work out very well – although it did work out very well for me and I will forever be grateful.
“But I would never tell anyone that it’s a good idea or that it could work out as well for them.
“But I can recognise that these things might not work out well for others and still be happy about my life.”
Continuing to address her critics, Breanna said she would continue to post her “beautiful journey.”
She added: “And I’m certainly not going to sit here and be miserable because someone online expected me to. I mean, that’s ridiculous.”
Brenna finished off her post by stating: “It’s time for you to stop expecting other people to be miserable with their lives just because you are with yours.”
