S Club 7’s Hannah Spearritt QUITS reunion tour after Paul Catermole’s shock death
S CLUB 7 Hannah Spearritt has quit the reunion tour after Paul Catermole’s shock death.
The band have appeared in a new video shared on social media, which sees them sharing the news that Hannah won’t be taking part.
“In all honesty, we’ve been in a bit of shock,” they began, as they discussed the death of Paul.
It was confirmed in April that S Club 7’s Paul was found dead at his home in Dorset aged 46.
Rachel Stevens continued: “We’re taking the time to process and get our heads around it all.”
Tina Barrett added: “It’s just really sad and really, really hard to process it right now.”
Paul was referred to as a “big brother” in the heart breaking video, by bandmate Bradley McIntosh.
He continued: “No one could ever replace our Paul. He lives on inside each and every one of us.”
Jo O’Meara said Paul would “light up a room” whenever he walked in, adding: “He lit up with humour and love and he was a really special person.”
Jo and Tina fought back their tears as they gathered together on the sofa to pay tribute to Paul.
Jon then discussed Hannah’s absence, as he continued in the video captioned “Love, S Club xxx,”: “Now you’ve probably noticed there’s only five of us here today.
“Although Hannah will always be a part of S Club 7, she won’t be joining us on this tour but we wish her all the best for the future.
“However, the five of us are really excited and geared up to crack on and it’s going to be our tribute to Paul.
“We’re renaming the tour ‘The Good Times Tour’ which is the song Paul was going to sing.”
Jon struggled to continue talking as he began to cry.
Tina added: “That was Paul’s song and all the fans know that that was his song so it just feels right.”
“He’s always going to be with us,” Rachel added.
The band finished by thanking fans for all their messages and love shared for Paul.
