I played the Egypt slots on Fab Bingo with £10 – here’s what happened

In this week’s Keep up with Katrina, I visited the Egyptian slots hosted on Fabulous Bingo.
With my usual budget, I went on an exploration of the ancient treasure waiting for me within the temples of Egypt-inspired games.

I started my expedition with an Egyptian king with some sass. One look at the sunglasses and cool dude smile told me all I needed to know about this game.
It was overseen by a funky pharaoh indeed.
This game uses the standard slot format. Players select a stake between 10p and £2 then click the “Spin” button to try and spin in one of the 10 paying symbol patterns.

However, it’s worth thinking about the extras that really enhance this game’s potential.
When a full stack of Funky Pharaohs land on reels 2, 3 or 4, this triggers the Funk Wild Respins.
That pharaoh will move one reel to the left with each respin, increasing his multiplier value by one with each move.
This continues until the Funky Pharaoh has shuffled off the play table.
You can win up to 10x multipliers.
There’s also the “Spin Boost” feature. This means that for a set amount, at any point in the base game, you can choose to activate this boost.
During the Spin Boost, Funky Pharaoh Wilds that land partially in view with nudge either up or down to fill the whole reel.

I’m also a big fan of the slingo format, which is why I often include a slingo game in these articles.
For those who haven’t encountered them before, here’s how they work.
Like the name suggests, slingo is a mashup of slots and bingo.
It takes the speed and “spin” feature of slots, and combines it with the game format of bingo.
This hybrid brings together the best parts of slot machines and bingo.
Players can pick a price within a range to pay, and that will impact how much they can win.
With Slingo Cleopatra, you pay between 20p and £20.
This buys you a number of spins (that’s 10 spins for my Egyptian queen game).
With each spin, five numbers are spun in. If any of those match with the numbers on your ticket, it gets dabbed off.
When you complete whole diagonal, horizontal or vertical rows, you form a slingo.
Each slingo moves you up the pay ladder. You have to achieve three slingos before you start to win prizes.
With each spin you can spin in extras, such as:
- Extra spin – This gives you an additional spin after your base number have been used.
- Block – This means you cannot dab any numbers in that reel for that turn.
- Wild – This allows you to pick a number from that reel to dab off.

The Cleopatra slingo is an unusual one, even by slingo standards. You don’t win cash prizes.

It’s another good one for extras. Stacked cats on the first reel triggers respins until you win a cash prize.

This happens when the stacked cats become part of a winning pattern.
You can win 8, 12 or 16 free spins by spinning in 3, 4 or 5 scatters in the base game.
There are also sticky wilds. Any wilds that spin into reels 2 – 5 will remain on screen for the duration of the round.
They will also have random multipliers of x2 or x3.

You can bet between 10p and £2 on this 10-payline game.
This game also has the Spin Boost feature, which allows you the chance to instantly access the bonus game.
There’s the chance to win instant cash prizes if you spin in 3 or 4 scatter symbols (worth 10x your stake or 25x your stake).
The unique element of this slot is the “Win Spins”. If you spin in 3, 4 or 5 scatters, you get 5, 7 or 10 Win Spins.
They work like free spins. After every 5th losing spin, the win multiplier increases by one.
When a win is achieved, the number of Win Spins reduces by one. The Win Spins continue until the player has achieved the awarded number of Win Spins.
