Emotional tributes to ‘big-hearted’ dad-of-two, 29, who died while fishing – leaving behind devastated pregnant partner
FAMILY and friends have paid tribute to a “big-hearted” dad-of-two, 29, who died while fishing – leaving behind his devastated partner.
Josh Bullock was found unresponsive while fishing at Conningbrook Lakes near Ashford, Kent on May 9.
He was discovered in his tent by two friends who attempted CPR before emergency services arrived at 3.20pm.
Now Josh’s mum Lee-Ann Bullock has paid tribute to her son, who was set to become a dad for the third time later this year.
She said: “His children were his reason for living, he absolutely adored them.
“He would go out of his way to be there for his family, friends, and even people who barely knew him.
“There is barely a dry eye in the area, everyone around here loved him.”
Partner Bobbie Barnes is due to give birth to the couple’s second child in December.

She said: “I am happy that he knew, we were so excited.
“He was the most amazing partner – I only wish that I had more time with him, and that I had met him earlier.
“He would come across as this big alpha male character, but in truth he was a big, soft teddy bear.
“He loved being loved, and he always reflected it back even more.”
A GoFundMe page has been set up in Josh’s memory.
