I’m a foodie & have mastered when to get M&S’ food hauls on the cheap – and there’s also a secret buy for lazy cooks
HAVE you never been in the right place at the right time when it comes to yellow-sticker food deals?
Well, you could be from now on, because a foodie has revealed the best time to nip into your local M&S to nab food hauls for super cheap.
Amber-Rose explains how she popped into her local M&S at 9pm – an hour before the store closes – and “unintentionally walked into a huge clearance.”
The 23-year-old shared a video to TikTok where she begins by taking her social media followers on her weekly food shop to top up her nearly empty fridge.
“Loads of you were telling me to try the candyfloss grapes but they didn’t have any so I picked this these Tutti Frutti ones and I tried them and they’re amazing,” she explains.
The savvy shopper then goes on to share a super handy tip for lazy cooks.
“Every time I see lazy chopped frozen vegetables my mum’s voice is ringing in my head saying, ‘why on earth would you spend your money on that?'” she says.
“But sometimes you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do.”

Amber-Rose then picks up a tub of pistachio ice cream that she notes “looks very nice,” some elderflower press and some “delicious” honey roasted peanuts that make “such a lovely little snack.”
She then expresses her surprise at seeing a “full freezer dedicated to garlic bread,” before picking up some special burger sauce.
At the end of the shop, Amber-Rose is gobsmacked to find rows of trolleys filled with cut-price food items.
“Guys – look at all of these trolleys lined up!” she says.
“All of the items in the trolleys are discounted because the shop was about to shut.
“I was in disbelief.
“I know that supermarkets normally discount this towards the end of the day but I didn’t expect to be in the middle of it.”
Amber-Rose goes on to say that she grabbed a few things that she wouldn’t normally grab just because they were on offer – including a tuna and cucumber white sub roll reduced from £3.75 to 98p and a beef and black bean dinner slashed from £5.50 to £3.13.
She also nabbed £1.95 haddock fish cakes for 97p, £2.50 rosemary and garlic potatoes priced at 85p, £2.50 mini fruit kebabs for 50p
and baby cucumber snacks reduced from £1.20 to just 46p.
The foodie continues: “There were so many items reduced from fruit, veg, ready meals and bread.
“I couldn’t buy it all because I wouldn’t be able to finish it but this is such a good hack – especially for families.
“Get yourself down to M&S before closing time.”
