I gave my dull loo a cheap but chic upgrade using a £10 B&M buy…it looks fresh & people can’t believe it’s the same room
A DIY fan has revealed that she gave her boring, tiny loo a cheap but chic upgrade using a £10 bargain buy.
Savvy mum and bargain hunter Cara Louise nabbed two packs of self-adhesive floor tiles from B&M and got to work on giving her small space a mega transformation.
Costing just £10 each for a pack of 11 slate effect tiles, Cara’s makeover cost her £20 in total.
The DIY fan shared her toilet transformation on TikTok, as she posted a clip with the caption ‘B&M bargains…. Toilet/laundry room looking fresh.’
In the 20-second video, we saw the DIY whizz get to work on transforming her toilet.
She first started ripping up the flooring and then used The Pink Stuff and a Scrub Daddy to give it a clean.
After this, she painted the walls white and then made a start on her flooring.
She explained: “Can’t beat some stick on tiles from B&M.”
“Was only meant to fix the toilet leak and replace the floor.
“Once I started, I had to paint and update the decor.”
Once her new flooring was laid, the social media user gave her followers a close-up look.
She added: “What do you think? Kitchen floor next?”
She later confirmed that she used two packs of the stick-on tiles, so 22 square tiles in total.
