EastEnders spoiler for today May 17, 2023: Stacey Slater receives jaw-dropping news about pregnant daughter Lily

STACEY Slater has vowed to support her daughter Lily after finding out she was pregnant earlier this year.

Desperate to make ends meet and with a baby on the way, Stacey Slater (played by Lacey Turner) has been running herself ragged to keep her finances afloat in recent months.

However, the bap van owner’s money issues spiralled out of control this week as bailiffs were ready to boot her out of house and home.

BBC One viewers will remember Stacey even turned to a loan shark before matters grew dangerous for her and her loved ones.

But tonight, her pregnant daughter Lily (Lillia Turner) doesn’t make things any easier for her.

Both Stacey and Martin Fowler (James Bye) are horrified when they learn the twelve-year-old is bullying a girl at school – how will they react and what can they do to help the pre-teen?

In later scenes, Martin takes a struggling Stacey for a picnic in the park where they share a heart-to-heart conversation – and he unknowingly gives her reassurance she desperately needs.

Unbeknownst to her loved ones, and after going head to head with loan shark Shiv, Stacey turned to camera work to make some extra cash.

Regular soap viewers will remember that she recently received an offer from a mystery client in exchange for money that she desperately needs.

Stacey has been debating whether she should show her face on her Secret Cam account as she’s aware it could backfire on her.

Overwhelmed, Stacey has been avoiding the dilemma as her situation grows more dire but could Martin help her reach a decision?

Will she go through with the offer?

Or can she find another way to make money?
