I hate applying makeup daily but found a genius new trick to keep it on permanently – but it’s certainly divided opinion
A BEAUTY fan has shared her secret to an effortless everyday look without wearing make up.
The makeup hater confessed she tints her eyelashes at home so she doesn’t need to apply mascara.
Kalia shared her tutorial in a TikTok video online.
She said: “If you’re somebody that doesn’t like to wear makeup every day, you have to tint your eyelashes.
The beauty fan admitted she has long eyelashes but as a blonde they didn’t stand out.
“So this is my before, as you can see, they’re really long. They’re just not very dark.”
Kalia confesses she uses beard dye from Just for Men to tint her eyelashes.
“I think the dye has just kind of faded out from washing my face and stuff. This is what we’re starting with. This is the one I use. I use the dark brown colour, and it’s the beard dye.
The beauty fan uses a pea size amount of each product which is more than enough for her lashes.
“Comes with two little bottles. You just do equal parts of each. I use a pea size amount of each one. Then I take this little spatula thing, and I just mix them together.”
Kalia then applies the mixed solution with a spoolie just like mascara.
She said: “Ends up looking like that. And then I just bend my spoolie, dip it in the solution, and apply it like mascara. I’m taking what was ever on the spatula, and I’m just applying it super carefully so I don’t waste any product.”

To protect the sensitive areas around her eyes Kalia applies Vaseline so the tint doesn’t stain her eyes.
“I forgot to do this before I started, but take some Aquaphor or Vaseline and just rub it all over, your eyelid so that it doesn’t stain your eye. Putting some underneath, too, just to be safe.”
Kalia applies the solution on both her top and bottom lashes for a thick coating whilst avoiding the roots.
“Well, even, like, going from the top and try to paint the tops of them. I just think that it coats them better. And try and stay away from the base of your eyelashes as much as you can, because you don’t want to get this stuff in your eye.”
Kailia uses a Q tip to clean up around her eyes before the dye kicks in.
“I leave this on for about 15 minutes, and then it’ll get darker the longer I leave it on.”
To wash off the beauty fan uses a dry cotton pad and gently removes the tint and then she uses micellar water. When cleaning Kalia has a full lash look with no mascara.
“They’re just much darker, and it makes it look like I have mascara on, even though I don’t.”
Kalia’s tutorial went viral with over 1 million viewer but many watchers were concerned.
One user said: “There is specific dye for eyebrows and lashes for a reason. Get that. Stop doing this!£
Another said: “I’m starting to think people just don’t gaf anymore about warning labels. We’ve been through too much we don’t care.”
