I’m a proud housewife – women shouldn’t have to pay for anything, chores should be optional too
A STAY at home wife reckons women shouldn’t have to pay a penny if their man looks after them properly.
Leaha, 23, broke up with her partner, Alan, 24, after realising she wanted to be a housewife and only got back together with him when he adapted to her high standards.
Such standards include not spending any of her own money on him unless it’s for a special occasion.
The TikTok star, from Michigan in the US, explains: “I don’t think women should pay for anything unless she wants to on occasions like for their man’s birthday.
“Doing chores should be optional, if a woman likes cooking or keeping her space organized, beautiful, and enjoyable, she should do so as both parties benefit from it and also benefit from the opportunity it gives them to feel appreciated from each other.
“However, because homemaking is a 24/7 job, I don’t see a problem with expecting help with it whether it’s from the man or letting him hire a maid for you.
“A woman shouldn’t feel obligated to problem solve the problems her man will run into trying to provide unless asked for her input.
“But she should be ready to follow and support him through the things he needs to do to make him able to provide better in a committed long term relationship.”
Leaha adds: “ A woman can help with managing the finances if that is an interest of hers.
“It is all about utilising each other’s strengths to benefit the relationship in a way that works for both individuals.”
