I’m 31 and make £84K a month from my side hustle – I work just 2 hours a day, here’s how I do it
A WOMAN has revealed she earns a staggering £84,000 a month from her side hustles.
US-based Jasmine McCall, 31, also claims she works just two hours a day to bring in her whopping income.
Jasmine, known as “Jazzy Mac” online, shared how she used to be a resource manager at Amazon, but decided to create personal finance content to provide an extra income.
This included uploading YouTube videos on topics such as how she went from a credit score of 495 to 820 by disputing inaccurate information on her credit report.
At the start, her videos brought in £800 a month, which helped to pay for her childcare.
Six months later, her videos had started to go viral and she was earning enough to quit her Amazon job.
Her husband Jay later quit his job as a software engineer to help her too.
Between December 2022 and March 2023, Jasmine claims they earned an average of £84,000 a month, mainly from digital product sales and YouTube ad revenue.
The finance expert and “mumtrepreneur” now creates videos on how to generate passive income, pay off debt and build wealth, and she also makes educational kits to help others change their finances.
She starts work at a leisurely 11am and she spends Mondays and Tuesdays working on her YouTube channel.
This involves doing research, writing outlines and creating her videos.
She then spends Wednesdays and Thursdays doing partnership content, where she will meet with brands to talk about collaboration ideas.
Fridays are typically spent doing press and publicity for her channel, and she will often spend the day talking to her publicist or doing interviews.
At 1pm, she shuts her laptop and enjoys day-time dates with her husband, which can include going out to restaurants or to the cinema.
From 5pm to 8pm, Jasmine and Jay have family time with their son after their nanny leaves, and the rest of the evening is spent doing self care or catching up with family and friends.
Speaking to CNBC, she said: “I’m also proud that my business has made it possible for my parents to retire early.
“Walking away from the stability of a 9-to-5 job can be scary when you don’t know what’s on the other side.
“But choosing this life has been a bigger blessing than we ever could have imagined.”
