Woman, 61, charged with murder after ‘very kind disabled’ woman in her 50s found dead in Surrey
A WOMAN has been charged in connection with murder after another woman was found dead at a property.
The victim, in her 50s, was discovered at an address in Ash, Surrey, on Thursday around 5.50pm.
Cops rushed to the scene after paramedics raised concerns over the woman’s welfare.
Sara McKenzie, 61, was arrested as cops launched a murder probe.
She has since been charged with the woman’s murder and will appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court today.
A man, 64, was also arrested but has been released without charge.
The victim has not yet been formally identified.
One local resident, who asked not to be named, previously said the she was “very kind”.
He said: “She is a nice person – she always helps other people. She’s very kind.
“She doesn’t work, she is disabled.
“It is a little bit upsetting. There are lots of police cars and all the different coloured tape, the blue tape is up, they have got tents outside. It’s an uncomfortable feeling.”
