Sadio Mane next club – transfer odds: Chelsea leap to front of queue, Newcastle, PSG and Liverpool in mix
IT’S fair to say things haven’t worked out quite as Sadio Mane would’ve hoped when moving to Bayern Munich.
So much so, reports in Germany suggest his Bayern career will draw to a premature close this summer, with Ladbrokes believing a return to the Premier League is the most likely move.

In fact, the top two in the betting are English with Chelsea (2/1) the current frontrunners ahead of Newcastle at 7/1 – admittedly the same odds as Paris Saint-Germain.
Mane quit Liverpool last summer to join the Bundesliga champions on a three-year-deal.
Mane previously spent six years at Anfield, helping the Reds to Champions League and Premier League glory before quitting for Germany.
He’s featured 37 times for Bayern this season in all competitions, chipping in with 12 goals in total as they find themselves in a fight to win the Bundesliga.
He was recently used from the bench in both legs as Bayern were dumped out the Champions League by Manchester City, a game in which Mane infamously found himself in a heated confrontation with team-mate Leroy Sane.
He was subsequently suspended and fined over a quarter-of-a-million-pound by the club after allegedly punching Sane following the bust-up, leaving Sane with a marked lip.

Because of all this, reports in Germany suggest Munich are open to letting him go along with Serge Gnabry, with Joao Cancelo’s time there also up.
With Chelsea having previously reported an interest in him, they could find themselves in a tussle to sign him, along with former club Liverpool.
That’s what essentially leaves Chelsea as favourites at present at 2/1, with Newcastle and PSG at 7/1.
Inter Milan and Tottenham come next at 10/1 and 11/1, respectively.
Former side Liverpool come next at 12/1 with Juventus and Manchester City at 14/1. Arsenal and Manchester United join AC Milan at 20s.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “A Premier League return looks inevitable for Sadio Mane this summer, with Chelsea and Newcastle seemingly set to do battle for his signature.”
