DEAR DEIDRE: IT feels like my new girlfriend is giving me the run-around. She blows so hot and cold.
She’ll arrange to meet me but then won’t turn up or answer her phone.
Afterwards she’ll make excuses, like she’s missed her train or she’s overslept.
Once or twice would be believable, but it’s almost every time.
We got together online and have been dating for four months. I’m 28 and she’s 25.
When we do see each other, she is lovely and she does seem really into me.

It sounds as if she does what she wants, when she wants, suggesting at the least that she’s unreliable and disorganised and, at the worst, that she’s selfish and not to be trusted.
Talk to her and ask her straight what’s going on.
But it might be time to look for someone new.
