Every soap star joining Coronation Street in 2023 – and where you’ve seen them before on screen
CORONATION Street will soon be welcoming a number of new faces onto the cobbles in the coming months.
The long-running ITV soap is adding some fresh faces to their cast – with drama promised.
Joining the show is a number of actors who have starred in rival soaps and dramas.

Stephanie Davies
Stephanie will make her Coronation Street debut in July for a brand new storyline.
The controversial former Hollyoaks star will play the role of steamy Courtney Vance.
Best known for playing Sinead O’Connor in the Channel 4 soap as well as an infamous appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, Stephanie will be joined by Archers star Ryan Early who will play her husband Darren.
Claire Sweeney
Claire is best known for her appearance on Channel 4’s Brookside as well as her other roles in Holby City, Benidorm and Doctors.
She’ll soon be back on screens when she takes on the role as Cassie, Tyrone Dobbs’ mother.
Cassie gave up Tyrone when he was a baby due to her drug addiction but the pair will soon be reunited.
Ben Hull
Ben has already made his debut on the cobbles and plays the role of businessman Owen Longford.
He quickly became a love interest for Jenny Connor before murderer Stephen Reid got in his way.
Before Coronation Street, Ben played Lewis Richardson in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks.
However, his time on the show came to an end when his character sadly took his own life.
Going further back, Ben also appeared in Brookside as Dr Gary Parr.
Ryan Early
Ryan will make his debut in Coronation Street alongside Stephanie Davies over the summer.
He’s currently playing the love interest of Helen Archer’s in BBC radio drama The Archer’s.
Ryan has also appeared in Casualty and hit Netflix series The Crown.
The actor will play Darren who will be introduced as a business associate of Dev Alahan this summer with Courtney arriving on Coronation Street soon after.
