Who is Dani Dyer’s ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence?
DANI Dyer called it quits with ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence after feeling betrayed when the extent of his crimes he downplayed to her was revealed.
The Love Island winner was heartbroken when Kimmence was jailed for 42 months after scamming OAPs out of £34,000.
Who is Sammy Kimmence?
Sammy was born in 1995 and is a stockbroker and amateur footballer from Essex.
He used to play for Barkingside FC.
In 2020 he was charged with scamming elderly people out of money.
His ex-girlfriend Dani Dyer the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, has had many ups and downs with Sammy and her actor dad initially disapproved of their relationship.
The pair welcomed a son in January 2021.
But due to Sammy’s legal issues, he didn’t meet his son for the first year of his life.
Why did Sammy Kimmence go to jail?
Kimmence was slapped with three-and-a-half years of jailtime after posing as a financial investor to defraud two vulnerable victims, aged 80 and 90 at the time, out of more than £33,000.
Portsmouth Crown Court heard that Kimmence’s actions left an RAF veteran “living on the breadline”.
Kimmence was working in sales and administration for a sports betting business when he met his elderly victims.
His victims were clients at the legitimate investment company Equine Global Sports Limited, where Kimmence worked as a senior trader.
The company would place bets on behalf of their customers with money the customers give them.
However, Kimmence took the money from the clients after the business had gone into liquidation.
He falsely told his victims that he was authorised to provide financial services.
Prosecutor Mike Mason said: “This was a very unpleasant fraud against two men who Mr Kimmence deliberately targeted.
“He targeted them because they were old, they were vulnerable and somewhat isolated.
“This wasn’t something he migrated into from a friendship. This was something he planned.”
When was Dani Dyer and Sammy Kimmence’s baby born?
Dani gave birth to her baby boy with her partner Sammy in January 2021.
Announcing the birth, she said: “After a very long day and night finally our special little boy arrived 23/01/2021 … Weighing 7 pound.
“We are in a complete baby bubble and enjoying every moment, can not believe he is ours, completely in love and so grateful to be his mummy..
“Sending all my love to all the other mommas to be out there in lockdown.. the best experience ever will never forget this day.”
But Dani is now set to be raising Santiago on her own as she has reportedly decided to split up with Kimmence.
“They have spoken and it didn’t go well”, a source told The Sun.
Dani initially believed her scammer boyfriend would be let off the hook for his crimes. But this was before knowing the full scale of his terrible actions.
The source said: “Sammy had downplayed the court case every step of the way and led Dani to believe he hadn’t done anything too serious.
“Now she knows the full horror of what he did, she is broken, she feels desperately sorry for the two men he scammed and whose lives he ruined.”
The 24-year-old is said to feel “utterly stupid for ever believing Sammy and she is totally overwhelmed.”
“The little dream family she thought she had has been smashed apart and she is now trying to work out how best to pick up the pieces.”
She has also been the target of “evil” trolls on social media and wasted no time calling them out for their appalling behaviour.
When did Dani Dyer and Sammy Kimmence start dating?
Kimmence and Dani had been in and out of a relationship since before her appearance on Love Island in 2018.
This is the third time the pair have been together in a relationship.
Before Dani went into the Love Island villa, they’d had a relationship that ended in a series of rows.
Once she left the villa and her romance with Jack Fincham came to an end, they rekindled their romance.
On April 23, 2019, The Sun exclusively revealed the pair had rekindled their romance after being spotted embracing in public.
An onlooker said: “Dani and Sammi were drinking and having a great time, and made no secret of being back together.
“Dani couldn’t keep her hands off him and the feeling was clearly totally mutual – they kissed for ages before heading off as a group, but he seemed to be keen to pass something to one of his male friends before they went.”
A pal told The Sun: “They were together for about a year, but she never really got over him and they got back in touch quite quickly once she split from Jack.”
After dating for 10 months the pair split again in March 2020 when Sammy was in court for scamming pensioners out of their savings.
A few weeks later they were reported as being back together in lockdown, and Dani now denies they ever split back in March.
However, following Kimmence’s conviction, Dani finally had enough and ended things with the scammer.
She was also seen taking her former partner’s car back to a BMW dealership in Debden this Thursday, July 15, after he was jailed for five counts of fraud.
Who is Dani Dyer dating now?
Dani is now in a relationship with Premier League footballer Jarrod Bowen.
She confirmed her relationship in an interview on The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan.
The couple welcomed twin baby girls in May 2023, neither parent has revealed the names of the girls.

In February 2023, Danny admitted he was petrified ahead of Dani giving birth to her twins.
He said in an interview with Jonathan Ross: “It’s petrifying. I am over the moon. It’s weird when your kid’s pregnant.
“You worry about them. It’s a miracle the whole thing, especially with twins.”
He also said: “So I’m going to have three grandkids under three by f***ing May.”
