I’m a single mum and transformed my garden on my own using bargain buys from B&Q – you can even Hoover it
A SINGLE mum has revealed how she revamped her garden all by herself using bargains from B&Q.
Stephanie Vavron shared the transformation on TikTok, and she even added artificial grass to make cleaning up easier.
In the clip, the mum said: “One of the most challenging things as a single mum is finding time to do things in the house.”
She revealed she got her first house at 18, not shy of hard graft she spent lots of time decorating the place.
Now, she’s decided to tackle the garden for herself and her kids to enjoy.
She revealed she was sick of her brown decking so decided to paint it grey.
The DIY whizz also nabbed an outside corner sofa set so that she could enjoy eating breakfast outside, and have a cheeky glass of wine in the evening.
She bagged some artificial plant trellises from B&Q and put them along her fence by the sofa set.
The savvy mum also nabbed an outside rug from the same store to give the seating area a luxe feel and some matching cushions.
Stephanie then picked up a solar light from Poundland as well as a large artificial plant.
The mum then gave her kids’ play area a good clean and put all the toys in a storage container.
She moved them out of the way so that she could then crack on with hoovering her grass.
“Now, this grass needs a Hoover and everything,” she said.
After clearing the space and hoovering her garden, she then went on to add the fake plant panels to the back fence, and she was obsessed with the glow-up.
Stephanie said: “I’ve managed to get it all secured and it looks amazing.
“It looks like the wee Love Island wall.”
The clips of the mum’s garden transformation have gone viral with over 800k views and over 50k likes on her account @stephanievavron.
