Jeremy Clarkson reveals future of The Grand Tour after Eurocrash special
JEREMY Clarkson has revealed the future of The Grand Tour after its Eurocrash special.
The TV presenter, 63, has fronted the motoring show since he left the BBC’s Top Gear.
He co-hosts alongside Richard Hammond and James May as they travel across the globe and try out new cars.
Fans had been left worried for the future of the show but Jezza has confirmed it will return.
Teasing what’s to come, Jeremy said: “For the next one – in fact, the next two – we’re back on slightly scary ground, doing things that we used to do when we were in our thirties and forties.
“But now we’re in our fifties and sixties, so I’m slightly nervous about the next two.
“Let’s just say we’re going back to Africa, and this one’s a hard one. It’s hard if you’re young and fit, but I’m really not fit. And I’m very fat. And I’m 63 now.”
Viewers will next get to see the trio on screen during their Eurocrash special which drops on Prime Video on June 16.
They will take on an epic 1,400-mile journey from Gdansk in Poland, through Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia.
During their mammoth road trip, they’ll be sampling some Soviet-style Formula 1 and recruiting a famous racing driver.
When comparing their future specials to this one, Richard Hammond said: “I think it’ll be a contrast.
“I suspect we may become uncomfortable for this one. There may be some camping action and some more struggles again.”
James May said: “We’ve got some interesting cars to drive. There’s going to be a massive contrast with this east European one.
“Where we’re going next is quite tough, with camping, which might finish Clarkson off.
“Hammond will love it because he loves camping. I’m pretty excited about it because it’s a bit of the world I’ve never been to, it’s slightly dangerous and edgy.”
