BBC Breakfast in another presenter shake up as Carol Kirkwood is replaced
ONE of the BBC’s most popular stars went missing from TV screens this morning in an unexpected presenter shake-up.
Resident weather presenter Carol Kirkwood was nowhere to be found on BBC Breakfast this morning.
The 63 year old star is usually up bright and early in order to bring the weather reports to the nation on the BBC’s morning offering.
However, a switch-up saw Carol replaced by one of the channel’s other weather experts.
Matt Taylor instead appeared on the programme in place of Carol.
No explanation was given for Carol’s absence.
Matt hosted his section of the show whilst regular Friday stars Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt took their place on the big red sofa.
BBC Breakfast viewers were all left stunned this morning as Naga opted for an unusually bright outfit for the show.
The presenter and journalist, 48, grabbed everyone’s attention as she was back on the iconic red sofa this morning giving viewers the latest news.
Naga looked stunning in a neon lime-coloured suit that had a bright green buttoned-down shirt and matching neon trousers.
As always, her makeup and hair were flawless, with her signature mauve sheen lipstick, eye liner, and mascara.
Many BBC viewers couldn’t take their eyes off Naga’s neon outfit, describing it as “super cool.”
Taking to Twitter one fan wrote: “That outfit’s a vibe.”
