Cops launch probe after EIGHT-year-old boy ‘robbed of his bike by three men’ in Nottingham
COPS have launched a probe after an eight-year-old boy was allegedly robbed of his bike by three thugs.
The youngster was playing with his pal, 10, near Bradley Walk, Clifton, Nottingham, when the incident happened on Friday around 5.10pm.
After approaching the kids, the men on bicycles threatened the boys leaving them terrified.
They then snatched the bike out of the younger child’s hand before leaving the scene.
CCTV footage of what is believed to be the suspects has now been shared in a bid to catch the crooks.
All of the group were spotted riding in tracksuits while one donned a balaclava.
They rode through a residential street before “targeting [the] children”.
The family of both boys are now being supported, say cops.
Nottinghamshire Police are making enquiries including local door knocks.
Detective Constable Anabelle Lee said they are “determined” to track down the trio.
She said: “This young victim and his friend were understandably upset by this incident and we are determined to track down those responsible.
“Targeting children to threaten and steal from them is totally unacceptable and if anyone has any information I’d urge them to get in touch with police immediately.
“We particularly want to speak to anyone who recognises any of the individuals in this image. If one of them is you, I’d also urge you to contact police.”
