THERE are days you don’t want to cook and others where you don’t want to cook but have to anyways.
One woman shared her lazy girl BBQ recipe that’s not only easy but weight-loss friendly.
MaKayla (@makayla_thomas_fit) shared the recipe with over 1million TikTok followers.
The nutrition specialist explained that she ate honey barbecue bowls during her weight loss transformation.
She started off by chopping up potatoes, which she preferred over rice because they’re delicious and have lower calories than rice.
She seasoned them, then air-fried them for 10 minutes, shook the pan, and then put the potatoes back in for another five to 10 minutes.
After that, a layer of green veggies went on top of the potatoes in meal prep Tupperware.
For the chicken, she added seasoning salt, garlic, pepper, honey, and her barbecue sauce of choice.
She then air-fried the mixture for four minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit, shook the pan, then put it back in for another five minutes.
She finished off her meal with a drizzle of chipotle sauce and some cheese.
