I lost 20 lbs the lazy way – I didn’t cut calories or hit the gym regularly but I did make 4 changes
A WOMAN has shared her method for shifting the weight, and it didn’t involve any gym work or cutting calories.
She described it as the lazy way, but it worked for her and she lost 20 pounds by making a few simple changes in her eating habits.
Since Karely’s (@babykarelaaa) shared her video, it has gone stratospheric with over 504,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
This young lady started her post on her TikTok with a simple announcement: “Tips on how I lost 20 pounds in three months the lazy way.”
But it wasn’t a conventional approach, as she explained. “I was not going to the gym, or eating right, or counting calories.”
It was, however, a very simple approach to weight loss.
“First step was I started being consistent with drinking water,” she said. “Drink at least eight cups a day, in the morning lemon water.”
It wasn’t easy but she persevered. “I don’t drink enough water so I tried to force myself to drink water for every meal or before every meal.”
Next up she recommended a nutritious start to the day. “Try to at least eat a healthy breakfast because it will help you have more energy throughout the day.
“Boiled eggs, tuna, salads, yogurt with honey, avocado on toast,” were some of her suggestions.
This was followed by portion control. “I would eat whatever I wanted by eating smaller portions of it,” she confessed.
“Portion your food. For example, eat less than how much you would eat. Slow down while eating and drink water in between to be fuller.”
Lastly, she admitted to not cutting out junk food completely. “I would say eat half a bag of chips and save the rest for tomorrow.”
Going out to dine regularly was now a thing of the past. “I used to go out to eat every single day and I cut that down to two to three days of the week.”
Commenters backed her method, including this success: “This is exactly what I did and lost 15-20 pounds in three to four months.”
It was a similar experience for this person too. “I stand on this. Worked for me and I lost 50 pounds,”
Finally, her post helped inspire this fan. “This is the advice I needed and it’s actually so good,” they said.
