Emmerdale spoiler for today June 22, 2023: Chas Dingle and Tom King horrified as Belle Dingle spirals
BELLE Dingle was recently informed that her serial killer ex-boyfriend Lachlan White was being transferred to another prison.
Shaken by the news, her mental well-being becomes a cause for concern for Chas Dingle and Tom King tonight in Emmerdale.
Recent scenes of the ITV soap showed Belle (portrayed by Eden Taylor-Draper) taking her reignited romance with Tom King to a new level as the returning character moved in with Rishi Sharma.
Unfortunately, old wounds were reopened when she was then given news about serial killer Lachlan White, a chapter of her life she didn’t disclose when she gave Tom (James Chase) another shot.
But tonight, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) reveals to Tom how Belle’s dealt with a lot of trauma and he’s worried about what she’s neglected to tell him.
He soon becomes aware there’s a real problem at stake and Tom demands to know the full truth from Rhona.
Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson), on the other hand, is concerned as he’s unable to reach Belle – particularly after he lacked tact with her and made her anxieties about Lachlan worse.
When Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) hears she’s gone somewhere, both her and Tom head off in search of her.
As they begin searching for Belle, the weight of their shared history is awkward which prompts Tom to apologise to Chas for what happened before he left the village.
Diehard fans of the Yorkshire-based drama will remember how Tom made Chas’ life a nightmare when he realised she was involved in his father Carl’s death.

He stayed away from Emmerdale for a decade and his return left Chas reeling in shock.
But they’re soon forced to put their conversation on hold tonight as they spot Belle in the distance.
Belle ignores their calls and the pair fear her mental health has taken a turn for the worst.
Could they be right?
