The International Organisation of Vine and Wine reported a 10% drop in global wine production last year, attributed to 'extreme' climate changes including droughts, fires, and other environmental issues. Australia and Italy were hit the hardest, while France saw a 4% increase. Wine consumption also hit its lowest level since 1996, partly due to inflation and declining consumption in China.
