Lille knockout Wolfsburg in UEFA Champions League

BERLIN, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Lille booked its berth for the Champions League round of last 16 for the first time since 2006 after moving 3-1 past harmless "Wolves" in the last game of Group G on Wednesday.

Both sides staged a lively start into the encounter and traded attacks before Lille stunned the hosts with the opener in the 11th minute through Burak Yilmaz, who finished off a fast break from inside the box.
