Genoa continues winless run in Serie A

ROME, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Genoa is still struggling as it suffered a 14-game winless run in Serie A on Friday after a 3-1 home defeat to city-rival Sampdoria in the derby della Lanterna.

The Grifone only registered one win in the current season, which happened in September. New coach and former Milan star Andriy Shevchenko managed one draw and four defeats since taking the spot in November.
