Ronaldo takes control at Brazil’s Cruzeiro with $70m investment
December 20 – Brazilian legend and Real Sociedad owner Ronaldo has obtained a controlling stake in his old club Cruzeiro, which has been struggling in the second division of the Brazilian game.
The 2002 World Cup winner has invested $70 million in the Belo Horizonte club following an agreement with Cruzeiro president Sérgio Santos Rodrigues.
“I don’t have all the answers to the questions that I ask myself and I possibly won’t have all the answers to the questions that you will ask me,” said Ronaldo.
