Premier League sack race: Everton boss Rafa Benitez favourite, odds SLASHED on Leeds’ Marcelo Bielsa after Arsenal loss
EVERTON boss Rafa Benitez is favourite to be the next managerial casualty of the season.
Six top-flight bosses have been relieved of their duties in the 2021/22 campaign including Xisco, Steve Bruce, Dean Smith, Nuno, Daniel Farke and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
And the Spaniard, 61, is available at 10/11 to follow in their footsteps after a difficult spell on Merseyside.
Everton went eight matches without a victory before finally clinching three points against Arsenal in the first week of December.
The Toffees then lost to Crystal Palace before securing an excellent point at Stamford Bridge, fielding a youthful and inexperienced side.
The result leaves Everton in 14th position on 19 points from 17 matches and eight clear of the relegation zone.
Marcelo Bielsa is second favourite with Leeds in free fall.
The Argentine’s odds shortened from 14/1 to 9/2 following their humiliating 7-0 defeat to Manchester City.
And Saturday’s 4-1 home loss to Arsenal have reduced his price even further to 3/1 ahead of clashes against Liverpool, Aston Villa and West Ham.
