Sporting KC sign D Ben Sweat to 2-year contract

Free-agent defender Ben Sweat signed a two-year contract through the 2023 season with Sporting Kansas City on Monday.

Financial terms were not disclosed by the team, however the club revealed it holds an option on Sweat for the 2024 campaign.
