A great and very informative video about Iran's involvement in Syria, highly recommended. Iran have sought for years to convert the Sunni tribes dominating Deir Ezzor province to Shiism, a important part of the Iranian 'land bridge' across Middle East. They are successfully doing that lately while Arab Sunni goverments (powerful, but divided, corrupt and extremely weak leadership) look the other way, some are even supporting Iran to make that happen. No wonder everyone hates them.

A cat came out of nowhere to pounce on an unsuspecting bird while its owner was teaching it how to walk towards a syringe filled with water outside of his home in San Pedro City, Philippines, on February 14. As the 6-week-old African lovebird named Lola waddled along a wooden bench, a cat suddenly leapt up and pinned down the bird. Luckily, the owner jumped in to save the lovebird. He pushed away the cat, which fell to the ground, and helped Lola, who was shaken but unharmed. "The cat jumped up from nowhere," the owner said. Читать дальше...
South Africa's most popular tourist city is running out of water. The drought that's plagued the Western Cape Province has dragged on for three years now. Euronews reporter Saras Arjunan visited a high school in the city. "At this high school just one tap in each bathroom is in use, while toilets on the second floor have been shut", she reported.
