However, resourceful craftsmen in Nairobi have recycled the tyres into new trendy footwear, and Germans especially are loving them. Artisans from Nairobi's Kariokor market bought the tyres from scrap yards and cut them into sandals which could last five years, attracting customers from far and wide. Police are searching for two suspects who stabbed and robbed a man in what appears to be a random and brazen broad-daylight attack in the Bronx, and they are hoping surveillance of the harrowing incident will lead to arrests. It happened around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 18, in front of 304 Echo Place. Thieves rammed a car into a marijuana shop in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood and stole merchandise early Friday morning. Surveillance showed a sedan ram into the door of Have A Heart at 3:15 a.m. The car backed out into Northwest 85th Street, and four people jumped out of the car and ran into the shop.
