A 26-storey building collapsed after a massive fire ripped through it in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Aftermath footage captured today (May 1) shows firefighters working on site amid a huge mountain of debris. Official figures have not yet been revealed and according to local media only one person was reported missing. The fire started on the fifth floor and spread to the dwellings nearby. 50 families were living in the building at the time of the incident and around 160 firefighters went to the scene.

A Russian man has captured the terrifying moment he fell under the tracks of a T-60 tank during a military festival in St. Petersburg. Petr Nazarov and another man and two children were thrown from the vehicle as it lurched over a steep ridge, with Nazarov collapsing beneath the caterpillar treads. The man who died was on the point of being rescued when the building collapsed.
