The Syrian military says its air defense system has intercepted Israeli missiles west of the capital Damascus. This comes after the Israeli army accused QUOTE-Iranian forces of firing some 20 projectiles from Syrian soil at the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. The Israeli army said some rockets were intercepted while others hit their targets. Earlier, Syrian media said Israeli troops shelled the city of Ba'ath in the southern province of Quneitra. The sloshed motorist had finished a heavy night drinking when he stopped his black Toyota Altis during rain in Khon Kaen, Thailand just before sunrise.
