International Business Times

Syracuse's national championship hopes took a big hit today with the news regarding Fab Melo. Syracuse starting center Fab Melo will miss the entire NCAA Tournament because of an eligibility issue. Given University policy and federal student privacy laws, no further details can be provided at this time.

NBA Trade Rumors: Dwight Howard to Heat, Dwyane Wade for D12 Swap?

International Business Times

Just two days away from the NBA Trade Deadline, the Magic are running out of time to make a decision on Dwight Howard. Orlando might be willing to trade the star if they could get equal value in return. The problem is Howard will only agree to sign a contract extension with a few teams. Any team that wouldn't be able to sign Howard to a long-term deal likely wouldn't give up a whole lot to rent him for the rest of the season.

Randy Moss Signs Contract With 49ers: Will it Work?

International Business Times

After a year away from the game, Randy Moss is back in the NFL. The wide receiver has signed a one-year contract with the 49ers. San Francisco came to terms with Moss just a few hours after he worked out with the club. Moss joins the team after spending the entire 2011 season at home. He said, I'm a guy straight off the couch, straight off the street. Moss is one of the greatest players to ever play the position, but he has also been known as a distraction in the locker room throughout his career.

David Letterman: Please Retire!

International Business Times

When I was a college student in the 1980s, I faithfully watched “Late Night With David Letterman” almost every night. If I was unable or unwilling to stay up till the program's 12:30 a.m. start time, I made sure to tape record the episode on my VCR (remember those things?). During those halcyon days on NBC, “Letterman” was just about the best thing on television – the show was original, fresh, creative, innovative, cynical, unpredictable, iconoclastic, unconventional and wildly entertaining.
