HAPPENING NOW: Burial ceremony of late Danbaba Suntai ongoing in Taraba
- Suntai was buried in Jalingo
- The event was witnessed by top government officials and other eminent personalities from across Nigeria
Former Taraba governor Danbaba Suntai is being buried today, Saturday, August 19 in Jalingo, the state capital.
His body was flown into the state in the early hours of Friday, August 18.
Top Nigerians present at the event include current Taraba governor Darius Ishaku.

Also present was Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose who delivered a testimony about the late Suntai.

Suntai's body was later taken from Jalingo to his hometown in Suntai where it will be interred.

NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Suntai's wife Hauwa was also sighted leaving the airport terminal at about 7.07 am on Friday, August 18. She was accompanied by some of her aides and security men.
