Wreckage of sunken WWII warship USS Indianapolis discovered, Navy announces

The USS Indianapolis sunk just past midnight on July 30, 1945. Now, 72 years later, it has been found at a depth of more than 18,000 feet, resting on the floor of the North Pacific Ocean.
