13-year-old boy pulled from Walden Pond; condition unknown

SAUGUS, Mass. (AP) — A 13-year-old boy has been pulled from Walden Pond. Saugus police received a report of a swimmer in distress in the Lynn Woods Reservation just before 2 p.m. Sunday. Responding officers and emergency personnel located the boy around 2:30 p.m. and tried to resuscitate him. The boy was taken to an area hospital. His condition wasn't immediately known.
