«SFGate» (sfgate.com)

The Fourth of July is a holiday for brassy horns, and you can get a head start during Sunday at Noise, a shop that sells classic vinyl on weekdays and hosts a honking jazz jam every Sunday in the Outer Richmond. The music is in back of the store, by the piano and drum kit, where shopkeeper Danny Brown, a touring professional sax player, is the bandleader. Audience members, called Noisemakers, can sit down on the couch or browse the bins and the gallery of jazz-influenced art while they listen.

In fact, the politicians were seemingly so in sync that Warren went so far as to steal Clinton’s signature style. While the former professor dressed in black trousers and a royal blue blazer, Clinton opted for a periwinkle pantsuit.

A musical for girls who have colossal imaginations The latest from SHN, San Francisco’s purveyor of touring Broadway shows, is the ninth-longest-running musical in Broadway history, “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” — remarkable for a musical that’s based on a 1991 movie. Get to know the art of surf craft

Inland Sonoma is not the place to find surfers, but their boards will be there on Saturday, July 2, when “Surf Craft — Design and the Culture of Board Riding” opens at Sonoma Valley Museum of Art.
