MTV Head of Development to Depart, VH1’s Lily Neumeyer to Oversee Both Networks

MTV’s head of development Eli Lehrer is departing the network, the media company announced on Tuesday in a joint statement with VH1. Lehrer, who was appointed to the position by unscripted head Nina Diaz in December, will be replaced by VH1’s Lily Neumeyer, who will now oversee both networks. MTV’s head of scripted development Mina Lefevre departed the network for Facebook last month. The world economy will witness modest growth in the next few years but it could be derailed by financial and policy instability, according to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.

"Global GDP growth is projected to increase, rising from just under 3% in 2016 – the slowest pace since 2009 – to 3.3% in 2017 and around 3½ percent in 2018," the OECD said in its interim economic outlook, released on Tuesday.

Survey finds pervasive corruption in Asia hindering progress
