8-block-long-treat: Massive sundae gobbled up in Michigan
(AP) — A roughly half-mile-long ice cream sundae was gobbled up in Michigan as part of a record attempt.
The Ludington Daily News reports thousands of people lined eight blocks in Ludington, a Lake Michigan town 100 miles northwest of Grand Rapids, on Saturday and more than 1,500 volunteers prepared the massive treat.
According to Guinness, the record for the longest ice-cream dessert of 1,957 feet and 1 inch was set in 2015 in Manurewa, New Zealand.
